Took two days to figure this one out. Multiple cylinder misfires, mixture control codes. Bad injectors, plugs, coil packs and fouled o2 sensors. Fixed up and boosting hard now! Thanks @sleeper_dc2_ for through with some decent injectors!

This one has been a long time coming. @colorado_s7 bought this 2005 STI about ten years ago and got me into tuning Subarus. This cars gone through many different build stages from a little 20g, fp red and finally this 6262. Engine and heads were built in house using out front v3 closed deck block manley pistons/rods, gsc valve train held together with arp 625 head studs.
This is the car we’ve developed all of our software, hardware and tuning practices on and has proven to be a solid platform. This little gal revs to 8,000 with room to go. We ended tuning at 42psi because we can’t keep the silicone couplers on long enough to go anymore.

So i see a lot of people complaining about E85 cold starts. This EVO hasn’t been started in 2 weeks, It’s currently -6° with 2600cc injectors on E85. Second crank started right up and idled. Get at me.

One of the single most over looked and forgotten modifications i see is when you guys delete your air pumps thinking you’re gaining hp (which you’re not it literally does nothing) is removing the BARO sensor from the switching valve. This is our preferred method of harvesting this sensor. Without this sensor the ECU thinks the car is at 30 psi atmospheric pressure at all times matter where you are driving.

Another one done! Sending this built B18C/B16 out to Albuquerque, New Mexico! This engine came in with burnt main caps, wallowed out cylinders and a oil pan full of metal. Found the oil port in the head not plugged causing a loss of oil pressure. Rebuilt with speed factory rods, wiseco pistons, full Brian Crower valve train, replaced main caps, ARP main studs, line honded, bored out to 84.5mm, speed factory head gasket and L19 head studs we also o ringed the block to hold all the boost.

How to bleed a clutch slave when you’re by yourself like a boss. Fill up the reservoir, crack the bleeder and compress the slave, tighten bleeder then relase the slave. Watch the reservoir and when the fluid stops dropping do it again. Repeat until no air bubbles come out, activate the clutch pedal a few times and do it again a few more times. You’re welcome.
